Most of you probably know what I’m talking about. Every year a slew of big BIG titles release each week as we near the madness of the holiday shopping season. A lot of the gaming companies plan their entire year around the release they throw on the shelf between now and mid-December, and it’s hard to blame them. This is the biggest shopping time of the year, and it’s also very near the end of their fiscal year. Plus, it’s just in time to get the most possible attention for one of the 500 coveted “Game of the Year” titles… so they can repackage and re-release the game later next summer.
