“Sorry, I know you said it before but I have this recurring nightmare in which Harrison Ford and I are fighting off a giant robotic squid attacking Tokyo. Now Harrison isn’t in his Han Solo outfit but for some reason he does have a blaster. So he keeps shooting but it doesn’t stop the monster, and just before I wake up the squid grabs me and says “Clean your room!” – which I think is a reference to something but I can’t ever seem to remember. This comic was for me. It makes me laugh. I realize that not a lot of people will get the joke, but I found it hilarious. For those of you too young to remember I have prepared a reference material. This is a commercial for Corn Pops from 1980 – please note the amazing toy found in the bottom of the box!
The second panel is a flashback to this comic. And, yes, I considered that comic a hint for how Cody would be saved. A little evil, maybe, but it’s no fun if I just tell you, right??
